YIPPEE! I am getting to be a big girl! Today I had cereal for the first time! My sister was making sure Daddy did it right while Mommy took pictures! It was OK really......however.....

I would rather eat my FEET! They are delicious and convenient....always there when I want them and don't need help to get them! Well...unless I have socks on....then I need my sister to pull them off like she always does!! Thanks Lauren! I knew you were looking out for me!

I love it when Daddy reads to me! He lets the kitty cat in the room! Mommy says no pets in the nursery!! But as you can see, Todd loves to be read to also! And I really love Todd....I try to give him kisses all the time but Mommy thinks it is icky!

Daddy and I have a tradition...we always go on a toy hunt when he comes home because I like to throw toys and books behind my crib! It became tradition while Mommy was pregnant with Miley because she couldn't lay on her tummy to get under here! Mommy says "Why ruin a good thing?" Besides I look forward to doing fun things with Daddy...and to me, this is one of them! Together we like to be "explorers"....Daddy always tells me that he comes from a "long line of explorers". Hey...me too Daddy! Yeah...My Itsy Bitsy Spider book! I love this one!

Mommy is packing away our winter clothes and getting out spring stuff! YIPPEE! She is also getting out summer stuff for our trip to Palm Springs! While she was working...I took care of Miley! I am becoming a really good sister! I even like to help Mommy burp Miley! I think it is fun!! Mommy questioned that I was just using the opportunity to give my sister a good beating on the back....but I was actually very gentle with her! I am becoming very loving towards Miley! I think she realizes that I am the cool one so I love that! She smiles and laughs at me all then time!

Mommy is so greatful that we are so close in age! She gets a big kick out of watching us develop into little people and become "friends" too! Certainly we will always be close! Stay posted....haha!

This is ridiculous....dressing your baby up like a ladybug! I am not sure what I did to deserve this! Mommy kept laughing while she was taking pictures of me...as you can tell, I fail to see the humor in it!

I am doing really good with my potty training! I am using my chair everyday and faithfully at night! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me and we do "dances" when I go! I am still saying "Potty" or "dipe" and then get so excited because I know I am about to do something pretty cool! Mommy, Grandma, Miley and I were at Target on Friday night, and I said "Potty".....Mommy let me down though....she did not have the Potty chair with us! What is a girl to do? We will keep you posted on my progress and certainly there will be pictures when I get to wear my first pair of big girl pants! Yet another thing I will thank my Mom for when I grow up! I think she means well....

Ahhh.....Mommy...what are we doing here? OHHH!!!! I get it! Whee!!! This is fun!

Miley if you hold on real tight....Mommy will push you really high! It's so much fun! Daddy even pushes higher! I wish he were here too! Daddy did call while we were at the park and when I heard the phone ring, I said "Hello...Dada" Mommy let me talk to him but I usually just say "Hi"

We did not stay for too long because it was still pretty cold out! Only 48 when we left! BRRR!!! Hurry up spring! We are so anxious to come back!

Tonight we walked over to visit some friends! Madeline has the beautiful curls and her brother Oliver is the one on the end with the huge smile! Brandon is their cousin and he is visiting from Pennsylvania. Mommy was best friends with Brandon's Mom in pre-school! Our families have been friends forever! Grandma even works with their Grandpa! We had a nice visit but a short one because it was getting late and Lauren did not have a nap all day.....it was about to get ugly! Oh yes....the cute little dog is Riley! He looked great in every picture!

I was so excited when I spotted this playground while we were on our walk today! I kept saying "UP ...UP" until they smarted up and let me out of my stroller to show them what I was pointing at! We were glad that it was spring break and all of the kids were out of school so we could "borrow" their playground! I was having fun doing the stairs by myself.

They even have a bridge that was pretty exciting!

I had fun on the slide going up instead of down.....I like a challenge!

I don't think I am supposed to play with the wood chips, but I tried anyway!

My parents made me go down the slide all by myself!!! Just kidding! I just hung out here getting a feel for things! Pretty soon I am going to love the slide too! I just hung out here while Mommy took pictures of me!

Too bad she cannot figure out how to turn these pictures! Dah Mommy!!!

Wheee!!! I beat you Daddy! Let's do that again!

Seriously Daddy, what is taking you so long?? I am already heading back to do it again!

I decided to pout a little when they told me it was time to get going! Phooey!!

I cried so hard when they tried to put me back in our stroller that Daddy decided to let me walk with him! heehee!!!! I am trying to learn how to hold on to hands when I walk but I really am not a big fan of it! I am an independent little gal!

Grandpa could not resist my sweet little "begging" when I wanted to go outside and swing! I love to swing but it is soo cold out! Mommy and Grandpa bundled me all up so I could head outside anyway. When Grandpa's hands got too cold, he tried to take me out of the swing and I let him know real quick like that I was NOT done yet!.....dress appropriately Grandpa....no whimps allowed! We later headed inside where Grandpa went "shopping"....look what he found in the "cute aisle"....ME!!

Hey....I am the only one in the "cute aisle"....get her out of here! .....(that's ok Lauren...I would rather snuggle with Grandma anyway!)

Yummy! If I keep chewing on everything, certainly something good will come of it! Like maybe a tooth!!!! But until then, I am just going to keep chewing and smiling and chewing and smiling......

Grandma...You have all of the great ideas! This bag full of balls is so much fun for a girl like me!

I hid a few in your refrigerator....did you find them?? I am practicing for Easter!!

This is so exciting! Even when it is cold outside, I can still have fun indoors! There's nothing like a bowl from Grandma's cupboards and some balls from her bag of "tricks"! Thanks Grandma!

Today we are doing the "Poo-Poo" dance at our house! I went poo-poo for the first time in my potty chair! Mommy was so excited for me that we did a little poo-poo dance and told poo-poo "bye-bye" as I got to flush it away!! When I was all done celebrating, I said "UCK" then "Bye-bye"...we called Daddy and Grandma right away and sent Aunt Care a text message....haha....probably information none of you want to hear about...but what can we say?

Today we went for a walk around a lake with our friends and I was ever so lucky to get my first Road Rash! I was pretty tough about it though! I fell...checked in with Mom... cried a little....then about 10 seconds later..... I was running again!

Jace ran nearly the entire way...so when he got tired, I let him have my spot next to Miley...I was still running! Check out his curls...aren't they cute!

I had so much fun that when we left, I cried! I want to go back soon! I love to be outdoors and getting exercise! Miley really enjoyed herself also! She just relaxed the entire time!

This is my everyday routine....I get up and head to the bathroom to "brush my teeth"! For those of you that know my Mom real well, you know she is obsessed with good dental hygiene...she thinks I am too but in all reality, I just love to play in the water! heehee....sorry Mom!

We continued to enjoy the beautiful weather after nap time. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house and took crazy turtle with us. Mommy thought I might want to play with it in the driveway, but I was far more interested in going up and down their steps! Thanks for helping me go down Grandpa...I am brave enough to try it but don't quite know the consequences of going down alone! Take note I brought my cell phone to show Auntie Kaleigh! I also spotted a bunny rabbit as he was crossing the driveway! I was so excited that I ran down the driveway and across the front yard trying to get close to him! He was sooo cute!!! I was very sad when I went up and down the hall saying "Kaaeee".....she was no where to be found! I tried every room...even the bathroom was quiet! She usually has music playing in there and I stand in the hall dancing to it! I miss my Auntie Kaleigh when she is not home! I guess she was at class tonight! I am far more important don't you know??

There was one great thing though! Grandma lets me eat as many cookies as I can grab out of the container! She just cannot tell me No! I am already catching on to this.....heehee....gotta love those Grandma's!!! Here I am eating "3" cookies at once! I sure hope that when I get to Grandma Elaine's house she has cookies too! They are delicious! I want to be a Girl Scout when I grow up!! They make great cookies!! Aunt Care must have been a Girl Scout too...she makes great cookies also! When Auntie Kaleigh was a little girl, my Mommy was her Girl Scout leader......paybacks Auntie Kaleigh! heehee!

Wow all of those cookies makes a girl thirsty!
In the past couple of weeks, I have been putting two words together! Today I was doing it a lot! I have tested a few...."Hi Momma"...."Bye-bye Dada"....."Hi Dog"....just to name a few! I am having fun with it! It gets Mommy's attention real quick! Today I even grabbed one of my diapers and said "Hi Elmo"....he is on my diapers! Mommy had heard that I say Elmo...but had not actually heard it herself! I think I impressed her....

OK...now I see what all of the excitement is all about with "Crazy Turtle"....he really is a lot of fun! I even gave him a bath with all of my druel! I think he loved it just as much as I did!

Daddy asked Mommy if she had heard me say any words yet......Mommy said yes! Daddy said he heard me say "Hi".....that is the same thing Mommy heard....as did Grandma! This was Lauren's first word also!......Sure...it is just a "noise".....but we are counting it!! It is a little more official when I use it to greet people, but for now....I'm just going to say it whenever I want...with pride I might add! Thanks for letting me druel all over your pillow Auntie Kaleigh! Hopefully it was dry by the time you finished class! heehee....

Today we were so excited when Mommy got the stroller out to go for a walk in the neighborhood. When we left, it was 52 degrees out and by the time we got home (two hours later) it was 67!!! For those of you reading this that do not live in the midwest....this is very exciting news for us!!! We were even able to shed these ridiculous hats that Mommy makes us wear! Miley...why do you suppose Mommy thinks it is so cute to dress us alike?? We aren't twins! ....no....but apparently we are Irish twins....whatever that means!

Well....whatever....but let me fix your hat before we take off! I want to make sure you can see everything! The last time we went on this walk, you were only 3 days old so you probably don't even remember it!

I love this potty training thing! I have figured out that when it is time for me to use the potty chair....I get to be alone with Mommy! It is great! Whenever I am getting tired of sharing Mommy with my sister, I simply say "Dipe".....then Mommy says, "Do you have to go Potty?" I grab my diaper and with such enthusiasm Mommy and I head up to the bathroom! Miley waits for us in her swing.....and when we get in the bathroom, I like to make sure the door is shut! I gather some of my tub toys and a book and Mommy and I get our alone time....I never actually go potty though! I just like hogging Mommy all to myself sometimes! Sorry Miley!!
I did this all day today....Mommy finally caught on and started bringing Miley along! She even let her sit on my potty chair.....PHOOEY!

Tonight we all gathered to celebrate our Auntie Kaleigh's 20th Birthday!!! I was lucky enough to get a little lick of the icing before everyone else did!

Miley was looking pretty interested in the icing also....I was enjoying a Lemon Girl Scout Cookie while everyone was waiting to have some cake!!

Here I go for more icing!!! Look how Miley is giving me that look of "you're the naughty one!".....
just wait Miley....once you have had something other then that nasty formula you think is so good....you will understand! When a girl wants a little sweets now and then....don't get in her way!
